ECS Diesel Purifiers contain either a ceramic monolith (AZ Series) or metallic monolith (DZ Series) substrate coated with advanced precious metal catalysts and packaged into stainless steel housings. These purifiers oxidize hazardous carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) to form harmless carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H20).
The AZ diesel purifiers will also reduce total particulate matter (TPM) emissions by typically 20%-40+% by oxidizing the soluble organic fraction (SOF) of the particulate, whereas other manufacturer brands can only offer verified PM reduction* values of 20% - 26%.
